A Virtual Education & Discussion Series
The Peri Power Hour
Transforming Midlife into The Power to Rise
Neuroscientist Dr. Lisa Mosconi defines menopause this way: a neuroendocrine condition, specific to women, that ends fertility and impacts a number of systems in the body, including the brain. It is a unique medical category, and it deserves to be treated like one.
“There is a real gap between the number of women seeking answers about menopause and the specialized care available to them. The Peri Power Hour was created to help bridge that gap, because every woman deserves education, understanding, and the confidence to navigate this transition.”
— Dr. Kerri Nevin, The MenoPsychologist
The Experience
The Peri Power Hour is a virtual series designed to help women understand the brain, body, hormonal, metabolic, and emotional changes of perimenopause and menopause, and what to do about them. Each session pairs a focused, science-backed lesson with live group discussion, so questions get real answers, not just information. The Power to Pivot builds from here. Once you understand what’s happening and have the tools to navigate it, you can begin exploring what this next chapter could look like for you.

The Curriculum
The Full Picture of Midlife Health
An ongoing series, not a fixed course. Topics rotate to meet the group's needs, covering both the biology of this transition and the lived, emotional experience of moving through it.
1.Brain, Body & Hormones
How estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone shape mood, memory, metabolism, and physical health, and what current research and medical guidance actually say.
4.Sleep, Energy & the Body
Protecting deep sleep and cortisol regulation, and reframing joint pain, weight changes, and fatigue as information, not failure.
2.Nervous System & Regulation
Why emotions feel bigger and harder to recover from in this transition, and practical tools to calm reactivity and build resilience.
5.Identity, Relationships & Boundaries
Navigating "Who am I now?", changing roles, and communicating needs with more intention as priorities shift.
3.Mood, Mindset & Mental Health
Differentiating hormonal shifts from clinical conditions, reducing shame, and using CBT-based tools to regain clarity and control.
6.Connection, Purpose & Integration
Building community with other women, and bringing the brain, body, hormones, and identity together into a clearer sense of direction.

Some women join for the one topic that speaks to where they are. Others return again and again as new questions arise. Both are exactly right.
Why This Format?
Perimenopause is not simply something women "go through." It's a profound neurological, hormonal, emotional, and physiological transition that deserves understanding, support, and compassionate, evidence-based care. This series is designed to help women stop blaming themselves for what they're experiencing and begin supporting themselves with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion, together, not alone.
You are not broken. You are becoming.

Do I need to attend every session, or can I join for a topic that interests me?
You can join for the topics that matter most to you. The Peri Power Hour is an ongoing series, with each session exploring a different aspect of perimenopause and menopause. Attend one session or return as new questions arise, there’s no need to commit to the entire series.
Why attend if I already see a doctor or OB-GYN?
Questions about your health and wellbeing don’t always wait until your next appointment. As a clinical psychologist, Dr. Kerri helps fill the gaps between OB-GYN visits by offering education, discussion, and practical tools for navigating the emotional and everyday challenges of perimenopause and menopause. The Peri Power Hour gives you space to ask questions as they arise, better understand your experiences, and feel more informed between appointments.
Will I have the opportunity to ask Dr. Kerri my own questions?
Yes. Each live session includes group discussion and Q&A with Dr. Kerri. You can ask questions about the topic, gain clarity on what you’re learning, and hear perspectives from other women navigating this stage of life.
